1. Introduction

Welcome to the website of 5AB - Drone Surveys (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and any services you order from us, including but not limited to aerial drone surveys and photography.

By using our website or placing an order for services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

We provide aerial drone photography and survey services for a variety of sectors, including property, construction, infrastructure, and land assessments. All services are provided subject to contract and our acceptance of a formal written order.

All services are subject to our full terms and conditions, available on request.

3. Formal Instructions

All client instructions for work are subject to our written acceptance. No contract shall arise until we have confirmed acceptance of your order in writing.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order at our discretion.

4. Fees and Payment

All quoted fees are exclusive of VAT and disbursements.
Payment is required in full prior to the release of any survey outputs or deliverables.
We accept payment via:
- Bank transfer
- Visa Debit card through our website’s secure payment gateway

If payment is not received on time, we reserve the right to delay or withhold deliverables without liability.

5. Cancellations and Refund Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing at least 7 calendar days before the agreed survey date to be eligible for a refund.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the survey date are non-refundable.
All cancellation requests should be submitted via email to admin@5ab.co.uk.

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all intellectual property rights in the photographs, video footage, data, and survey outputs remain the sole property of 5AB - Drone Surveys.

Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the deliverables for internal purposes only.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We exclude all liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of business, loss of capital assets, property damage, or anticipated profits, arising out of or in connection with our services.
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including adverse weather or airspace restrictions.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under English law.

8. Use of Website

Your use of our website is subject to the following conditions:

9. Compliance and Regulation

All aerial services are conducted in accordance with the regulations of the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). We maintain the required permissions, operational authorisations, and insurance.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that necessary permissions for site access and overflight are secured before the survey date.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
